The children's playground in Kulbakine has been renovated: in total, 7 locations in Mykolaiv were repaired

In the microdistrict Kulbakine of the Korabelnyi District of Mykolaiv, a children’s playground next to the building on Znamenivska Street, 33-A, was repaired. In total, over the past 2 weeks municipal workers have brought 7 children’s sites in various parts of the city into order, and renewed the sand surface at another 14 playgrounds.

The Mykolaiv City Council reported the completed work.

The repair and maintenance of play areas are carried out by specialists of the municipal enterprise “Directorate of the Single Customer “Pilot”.  According to the enterprise, the works are aimed at making children’s leisure places safer, tidier and more comfortable.

Over the past 2 weeks children’s playgrounds were repaired at the following addresses:

• Heroes of Ukraine Avenue, 81;
• Parusnyi Lane, 7;
• Kolodiazna Street, 5-A;
• Znamenivska Street, 33-A;
• Hliba Babicha Street, 14-A;
• Heroes of Ukraine Avenue, 81-A;
• Heroes of Ukraine Avenue, 81-B.

Separately, municipal workers replaced or replenished the sand surface at 14 of Mykolaiv’s children’s playgrounds.

The playground on Znamenivska Street, 33-A, was the only location from the published list that is located in the Korabelnyi District.

Nearby, in the Kulbakine microdistrict, residents had previously drawn the authorities’ attention to the neglected state of play areas. In particular, in January 2024 people complained about the dangerous condition of the playground on Znam’yanska Street, 39, near the plane.

The problem of maintaining children’s and sports locations remains relevant in other parts of the Korabelnyi District as well. Residents have repeatedly reported broken structures, rust, litter, lack of benches, and elements that could injure children.

The city council assured that repairs and maintenance of children’s playgrounds will continue. Municipal services are to gradually bring the play areas into order so that they remain safe for children and convenient for parents.
