The dollar exchange rate in Ukraine at the end of 2027 could reach 48.3 hryvnias per dollar. This figure is contained in the macroeconomic forecast of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which came into the possession of the publication “Ekonomichna Pravda”.
The average annual rate in the government’s forecast for 2027 is 47.1 hryvnias per dollar. For comparison, as of September 15, 2026 the dollar is 44.6 hryvnias.
Ukrainian businesses use a higher benchmark in budgets for 2027 — about 49 hryvnias per dollar. This is indicated by the results of a survey by the European Business Association.
Most entrepreneurs who took part in the survey expect the war in Ukraine to continue next year. At the same time, companies traditionally build more conservative, that is, higher, exchange rate figures into their financial plans.
