Heat map in Mykolaiv region: in Snihurivka - 36.2°C, most districts exceeded 33°C
On August 3, Mykolaiv — +35.8°C, Berezanka — +35.7°C, Ochakiv — +33.8°C; residents are advised to limit activity at midday
An intense heat period continues in the Mykolaiv region: according to the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology, during August 3 some locations recorded a maximum of up to +36.2°C, the highest reading was recorded in Snihurivka.
Meteorologists report the following peak values: in Snihurivka — +36.2°C, in Mykolaiv — +35.8°C, in Berezanka — +35.7°C, in Voznesensk — +35.0°C.
In other settlements of the region, maximum temperatures reached: Pervomaisk — +32.9°C, Bashtanka — +33.3°C, Ochakiv — +33.8°C.
According to meteorologists’ estimates, daytime values exceeded +33°C over most of the region, which corresponds to a sustained period of summer heat.
Experts urge residents to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during the hottest hours, maintain proper hydration, and, if possible, reduce physical exertion during peak heating periods.
