Winter in Ukraine may be 1–2°C warmer than normal
Frost, precipitation, and hazardous weather conditions are still possible
In November 2026 and throughout the winter months, the average monthly air temperature in Ukraine may be 1–2°C above the climate norm. These preliminary estimates were prepared by meteorologists.
The forecast was presented by Nataliia Ptukha, head of the media communications department at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, during a briefing at Ukrinform.
Expectations of warmer weather do not rule out frost. Cold spells, precipitation, and hazardous weather conditions are possible during the season.
Seasonal estimates describe general temperature trends but do not predict the weather for a specific day. Meteorologists therefore advise following the latest forecasts and official warnings.
