From 1 to 4 August in Mykolaiv and the region, extreme heat up to +38°C is expected, the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology warned.
Experts explain that the heat wave is associated with the spread of hot air masses from the southwest, and daytime temperatures will rise to 35–38°C.
The anomalous heat may complicate the operation of energy and utility companies, affect the stability of rail and road transport, and also negatively affect the well-being of the population.
Meteorological information will be further specified in operational weather forecasts and warnings about adverse meteorological phenomena.
