Occupied Oleshky: evacuation lists compiled and opening a route under consideration
About 2,000 people remain in the city, in the community — up to 6,000
Lists of residents who wish to evacuate from the temporarily occupied city Oleshky have already been compiled and are currently being checked;
After verification, a decision will be made on the possible opening of an evacuation route, which was reported on the air of «Vhoru» by the representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, Vasyl Donets.
According to Vasyl Donets, the compiled lists of applicants are undergoing verification, and only after that will it be determined whether it is possible to launch the route for departure and when exactly this will happen.
He described the situation in the temporarily occupied areas as extremely difficult: in the city Oleshky there may be about 2 thousand people remaining, and up to 6 thousand in the entire community, which, he said, is a humanitarian catastrophe; the official urged those who can to evacuate.
At the same time, the official reminded that earlier reports about an allegedly organized evacuation of residents of temporarily occupied Oleshky and surrounding settlements do not correspond to reality, and at this time an official evacuation from the city is not being conducted.
