Two brothers on jet skis, carrying dry bags, were detained on the Dniester while crossing the border
They reached the border zone by bypassing checkpoints and have already been held administratively liable
On the Dniester River, border guards of the Mogyliv-Podilskyi detachment stopped two men who attempted to illegally cross the state border on jet skis; the detention occurred while they were moving on the water.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the offenders were brothers aged 32 and 34.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported the incident, publishing the information on its official resource; details are available via the link on the service’s Telegram channel here.
Before going onto the water, the men reached the border strip by detours, attempting to bypass checkpoints and avoid document checks.
To cross the water section of the border and reach a neighboring state, they used personal watercraft and had placed their belongings in watertight bags to protect them from getting wet.
A patrol of the service detected the violators on the river and detained them during their crossing, preventing them from reaching the opposite bank.
Both men were held administratively liable for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine.
