Multiple stab wounds to the back: a woman was killed in Odesa

In Odesa, a 39-year-old woman was detained, suspected of the intentional murder of her 49-year-old relative with particular cruelty. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Oblast.

A few days before the report, the body of the deceased with multiple stab wounds was found in the entrance of an apartment building in the Kyiv District of Odesa.

The investigation believes that, due to personal animosity, the suspect planned the murder in advance. She allegedly lured her relative to a secluded spot, after which she inflicted numerous stab wounds to the back. The victim died at the scene from the sustained injuries and blood loss.

Before and after the crime the woman changed clothes several times in an attempt to conceal her involvement. Police seized physical evidence and sent it for examination.

The detainee was charged with intentional murder under aggravating circumstances. If found guilty, she faces life imprisonment.
