The Ministry of Defense will inspect all TCCs: complaints of illegal detention and violence will be reviewed
Mstyslav Banik stated the need to distribute record-keeping and mobilization among different institutions and to create humane hubs with 24/7 video recording
Official inquiries will be carried out in all territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCCs), including in the Mykolaiv Oblast; this was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mstyslav Banik.
The official published the decision in his post on Facebook, emphasizing a comprehensive review of the work of each TCC and response to citizens’ appeals.
«Official inquiries will be conducted in all TCCs; citizens’ appeals regarding unlawful detention, violence and other unlawful actions will be examined as thoroughly as possible», — said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mstyslav Banik.
He separately drew attention to the need for open communication with citizens and stressed that TCC structures must provide law enforcement with full support during investigations.
According to the official, the TCC system should be reformed by redistributing its powers among different institutions and abandoning the closed loop of registration and mobilization.
«The functions of TCCs must be distributed among other institutions, without a closed loop of registration and mobilization. The hubs where people will wait to undergo the military-medical commission (VMC), be dispatched to training centers and brigades – must be as comfortable and humane as possible, with video recording 24/7 and strict control of interaction with citizens at all stages», — said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mstyslav Banik.
