Road accident on the way to the Korabelnyi District: in Mykolaiv a bus with passengers collided with a Toyota
There were passengers on the bus, but no one was injured
On the evening of Tuesday, May 5, 2026 on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue in Mykolaiv, a traffic accident occurred involving a city bus operating on route No.91 and a Toyota, report “Novini-N“.
Both vehicles were traveling along Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue from Pivdenna Street toward Teatralna Street. The collision occurred in the pull-out bay area near the cinema-concert hall “Yunist”.
According to the Toyota driver, she stopped in the pull-out bay, let passengers out, turned on her left turn signal and began to pull away. Seeing the bus in her rearview mirror, the woman says she yielded to it and only after that continued to move. At the same time, she claims the bus still clipped her car on the right side.
The bus driver does not agree with that version. He stated that he was approaching the stop when the Toyota driver began to move, which led to the collision.
Despite there being passengers on the bus, no one was injured as a result of the accident.
Police officers were working at the scene of the accident to establish all the circumstances of the incident and determine whose actions led to the collision.
