New drone and ballistic attacks on Mykolaiv: power outages and two injured

Over the past day, as of 07:00 in the morning 3 May, Russian forces again attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed” type. The region’s energy infrastructure was once again hit.

According to regional authorities, the attack caused partial outages in settlements across the oblast. Specialists are currently continuing work to restore power supply.

In the Chornomorska community a fire broke out after the attack. A private house and outbuildings were also damaged. In Mykolaiv, damage to a non-residential building and a trolleybus was recorded. According to morning reports, no injuries were reported as a result of the nighttime attack.

Separately for the Mykolaiv Raion it is reported that during the day the enemy attacked 9 times with FPV drones the Ochakivska and Kutsurubska communities. As a result of one of the strikes, a private house in the village of Dmytrivka was damaged.

Later the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim reported new data regarding the morning strike on the regional center. As of 09:52 3 May, in Mykolaiv as a result of a ballistic strike on the city 2 people were injured.

Vitaliy Kim noted that the injured are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
