Company UForce introduced a new strike loitering munition drone named “Bucha”, designed to hit targets at significant distances; the development was reported by the Militarnyi portal.

The aircraft is built in a fixed-wing configuration. It carries a warhead weighing 5.5 kg and can cover up to 200 km, allowing it to operate against distant targets.

The launch solution differs from the usual designs for such platforms: the UAV is launched not from a catapult but from a compact rail using a starter propellant charge.

UForce is considering scenarios of simultaneous use of multiple vehicles. Interaction between them is arranged on a mesh-network principle, where one of the drones can act as a signal relay for the others.

Currently, “Bucha” is undergoing flight tests, while combat tests have not yet been conducted. Simultaneously, the team is developing communications channels for operational use.

The final cost will depend on the chosen communication method, in particular via Starlink or alternative channels. The estimated unit price will be 10–12 thousand dollars.

In parallel, a simplified modification with a warhead of 3.5 kg and a range of 100–120 km is being prepared. This version has already been used in combat and is approaching pre-production.

In early March UForce announced raising 50 million dollars in investment. Since the start of the full-scale war the company’s systems have completed over 150 thousand missions; these include, in particular, maritime drones Magura, heavy bomber platforms, ground robotic complexes and remotely operated turrets.
