Attack in the Mykolaiv region with ballistic missiles, drones and MLRS: bus hit, two wounded
On March 17, two districts of the region were shelled with various types of weapons; passenger transport was damaged
As of 07:00 on the morning of 17 March, strikes were recorded in two districts in the Mykolaiv oblast: the invaders used a ballistic missile, FPV drones and MLRS; in the Kutsurubska community a drone hit a bus carrying company employees, two people were injured.
The situation was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration in its morning briefing.
In Voznesensk district during the day the enemy carried out a ballistic strike on open terrain, reportedly with an “Iskander-M” type missile. No casualties or damage to residential infrastructure were recorded.
In Mykolaiv district during yesterday there were three FPV drone attacks on the Ochakivska and Kutsurubska communities.
The administration clarified the circumstances of the evening incident with the bus that was carrying company employees in the Kutsurubska community.
“In the evening, as a result of one of the FPV drone strikes, a bus that was carrying company employees in the Kutsurubska community was hit. A 69-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were injured. They were hospitalized.”
By morning, doctors assessed the condition of both injured as stable, of moderate severity; treatment continues in the hospital.
In addition, at dawn the enemy shelled, reportedly with MLRS, the Ochakivska community. No reports of injuries have been received.
