A Mazda hit a pedestrian in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv
The pedestrian was crossing the road outside a pedestrian crossing; the driver was 63 years old
March 4, 2026 at 21:49 near house No. 307 on Bohoyavlenskyi Ave. in the Korabelnyi district of the city of Mykolaiv, a Mazda 323, driven by a 63-year-old driver, struck a man who was crossing the roadway outside a pedestrian crossing. The victim was taken to a medical facility; he is 64 years old.
The Mykolaiv Oblast police published information about the accident; they are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident; the report is posted on the agency’s official website.
According to law enforcement, the pedestrian sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized in a medical facility to receive medical care.
The initial classification of the incident is — ch.1 art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules), the sanction of which provides for punishment of up to three years’ restriction of liberty.
