Motorcycle collided with a BMW in the Mykolaiv region: driver hospitalized
A 21-year-old motorcyclist in Lotskyne remains under medical supervision
In the evening of October 5 in the settlement of Lotskyne in the Bashtansky community in Mykolaiv region, a motorcycle and a car collided. The motorcycle rider sustained bodily injuries and medics took him to the hospital.
According to the Bashtansky District Police Department, the accident occurred at about 19:40. The Alpha 50CC motorcycle was ridden by a 21-year-old man, and the BMW 528 was driven by a 35-year-old driver. The injured motorcyclist remains in the hospital under medical supervision.
Police are clarifying all the circumstances of the collision. Investigators have preliminarily classified the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the rules of road safety or the operation of transport by persons who drive vehicles. The sanction of this article provides for a penalty of up to 3 years restriction of liberty.
