Ukraine's corn exports almost doubled — to 1.8 million tonnes

From the beginning of the 2026/2027 marketing year and as of 21 September, Ukraine had exported 4.6 million tonnes of cereals and pulses. These figures were released by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In September, 928 thousand tonnes of grain were shipped abroad. A comparison with the same period last year shows an increase in corn deliveries and a reduction in exports of wheat, barley and flour:

• corn — 1.8 million tonnes compared with 905 thousand tonnes a year earlier;
• wheat — 2.3 million tonnes compared with 4.1 million tonnes in the same period last year;
• barley — 420 thousand tonnes versus 791 thousand tonnes last year;
• rye — 0.2 thousand tonnes, whereas there were no deliveries in the previous year;
• flour — 6.8 thousand tonnes, almost half last year’s 13.3 thousand tonnes.
