Trains from Mykolaiv topped the delay rankings: the delay exceeded 16 hours

Two passenger trains from Mykolaiv as of the morning of September 21 2026 topped Ukrzaliznytsia’s list of services with the largest delays. The train to Kyiv is behind schedule by more than 16 hours, and the service to Lviv – almost 13 hours.

This is evidenced by data from Ukrzaliznytsia’s official service “What’s with my train?”, updated at 10:08 on September 21. The carrier warns that the delay time is calculated automatically and may change while the train is en route.

Most behind schedule is train No. 121/122 Mykolaiv – Kyiv. Its delay is 16 hours 33 minutes. According to the timetable the service was due to arrive in Kyiv as early as 19:25 on September 20, however by the morning of the next day it was still en route. In the main list of the service the estimated arrival time is indicated at around 12:30 on September 21, and the reliability of this estimate is marked as low.

Second on the list was train No. 109/110 Mykolaiv – Lviv, which is behind schedule by 12 hours 47 minutes. It was due to arrive in Lviv at 08:18 on September 21, but the estimated arrival time shifted to 21:05. Ukrzaliznytsia assesses the reliability of this estimate as high.

There is also a significant delay in the opposite direction. Train No. 121/122 Kyiv – Mykolaiv is behind schedule by 5 hours 30 minutes. According to the timetable it was due to arrive in Mykolaiv at 06:08, however the estimated arrival time is around 11:30. The reliability of this estimate in the system is marked as medium.

Thus, as of the morning of September 21 those two services from Mykolaiv had the greatest delays compared to other trains shown in the official delay service. The next services behind them were delayed by less than 12 hours.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” emphasizes that the estimated time may change: during alerts, evacuations and detours the delay may increase, and if the movement speeds up — it may decrease.
