Two passengers were seriously injured after a train was struck in the Kharkiv region

On Friday, 18 September, the enemy struck a suburban train in the Kharkiv region. According to preliminary information, two passengers suffered serious injuries, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

The threat was detected by a monitoring group of Ukrzaliznytsia, after which passenger evacuation began. It has been preliminarily established that the injured were wounded during the evacuation because they did not manage to move away from the train to a safe distance.

Medics and rescuers are heading to the site of the strike.

Ukrzaliznytsia urged passengers during evacuation to strictly follow the instructions of the train crew. If there is no nearby shelter, you must move at least 200 meters away from the rolling stock and railway infrastructure objects. The company emphasized that complying with this requirement can save lives.
