"The US's 'hellish sanctions' will complicate the search for peace — Peskov"
Moscow called the adoption of the bill an unfriendly step
After passage by the U.S. House of Representatives of a bill on new sanctions against Russia, the Kremlin called the document an unfriendly step. The president’s press secretary of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov said that new sanctions by the U.S. could complicate efforts to find ways to peacefully resolve the war in Ukraine.
The introduction of any additional sanctions by the U.S. will, without doubt, complicate efforts to find a peaceful resolution in Ukraine.
Peskov also noted that the Kremlin is closely watching the further consideration of the bill. Earlier, the U.S. Senate supported measures against Russia that are being called “hellish sanctions.”
