Six-year-old Zlata was congratulated by colleagues of her fallen father, fighter "Lyuti"
Oleksandr Khomych was killed in the Donetsk region during a combat mission
17 September Mykolaiv police officers congratulated 6-year-old Zlata Khomych — the daughter of senior police sergeant Oleksandr Khomych, who was killed in the war. Along with the law enforcement officers, the regional head office’s consultant on veteran policy Oleh Zavhorodniy visited the girl.
The guests brought Zlata flowers and gifts. On a sunny autumn day they supported the daughter of the fallen colleague with warm words, attention and care.
Oleksandr Khomych joined the United Assault Brigade of the National Police “Lyut” in 2023 to defend the country. His life was cut short in July 2024 while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region.
On behalf of the leadership of the Mykolaiv police, the girl was wished:
- strong health and sincere friends;
- interesting discoveries and success in her studies;
- the fulfillment of her most cherished dreams;
- a happy childhood in a peaceful country.
