The SBU struck six aircraft at an airfield in Rostov
The Yaroslavl oil refinery was also hit during the joint operation
Last night the Security Service of Ukraine struck a military airfield in Rostov. President Volodymyr Zelensky called the strikes powerful and confirmed the destruction of six aircraft.
Volodymyr Zelensky clarified:
“SBU precisely struck the airfield — confirmed destruction of an An-12 aircraft, two An-26s and three helicopters”.
In addition, new strikes were carried out against the Yaroslavl oil refinery. It was a joint operation that involved:
- Security Service of Ukraine;
- Unmanned Systems Forces;
- Main Intelligence Directorate;
- Foreign Intelligence Service.
The president also reported successful results by Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea, but he did not disclose details of those actions yet.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian military:
“Thank you to our soldiers, who make the war felt by Russia every day. We respond to aggression daily. Russia must choose peace”.
Also in Kharkiv Russian drones struck two shopping centers.
