Zelensky reported strikes on «Progress», «Savasleyka», and an oil facility in Russia
According to the president, the distance to the targets was approximately 700–900 kilometers from the Ukrainian border
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported new results of long-range strikes by Ukrainian forces on Russian facilities. According to him, the enterprise “Progress” in the Samara Oblast, the airfield “Savasleyka” in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, as well as an oil facility in the Ust-Luga area were hit. The head of state wrote this on his social media pages.
Today there are new significant results of our long-range strikes
In Samara Oblast, as the president noted, one of the key facilities within “Roscosmos” — the “Progress” center — was struck. The enterprise, in particular, is engaged in electronics production. “Flamingo” missiles were used to strike it. From the Ukrainian border to the facility — about 900 kilometers.
Ukrainian long-range systems also struck the airfield “Savasleyka” in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. Russian missile carriers are based there. The distance from Ukraine to the airfield is approximately 700 kilometers.
In addition, according to Volodymyr Zelensky, damage to an oil facility in the Ust-Luga area was recorded. It is located at a distance of more than 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The president thanked the units that took part in the strikes for their accuracy. He said that the strategy of long-range strikes against Russia is aimed at reducing its military potential.
Peace is needed, and in Russia this must be visible — through concrete damage to specific targets
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had announced winter strikes on Russia.
