After a video from a Nova Poshta branch in Ivano-Frankivsk appeared online, showing employees using a mop to drive a homeless dog out into the heat of +37°C, the company fired the people shown in the recording and announced a search for the animal to provide assistance.

The published footage shows the dog ending up on the street, being led out of the premises by employees using a mop, despite the extreme heat approaching +37°C.

The company promptly took personnel actions: the employees seen in the video were suspended from work and dismissed following an internal investigation.

At the same time, Nova Poshta organized a search for the dog to take it to a veterinary clinic in Hlevasi for examination and, if necessary, treatment, with the company promising to cover all costs.

Additional briefings and clarifications on humane treatment of animals were announced for network staff to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The company emphasizes that such behavior contradicts their pet-friendly policy: rescued cats live in some branches, water dispensers are installed for animals, and in winter they are allowed inside to warm up.

Management said that what was seen in the video came as a surprise and a shock to them, as it does not correspond to the declared practices and standards of the network.
