Repairs of a hazardous section on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue in Mykolaiv have been completed
The road was opened to traffic after the new asphalt was laid
In Mykolaiv, repairs of an emergency section of the road at the intersection of Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue and 5th Lypovyi Lane have been completed. After the completion of the works, the road was opened to traffic.
The repairs were carried out for several days by specialists of the municipal enterprise «ELU Avtodorih».
The road surface on this section experienced heavy loads due to intense traffic, particularly heavy vehicles. Over time, this led to the deterioration of the road.
The work was carried out in stages. First, the damaged pavement was milled, after which the base was cleaned of dust and asphalt concrete debris.
Next, the base was treated with a bitumen emulsion to ensure reliable bonding with the new asphalt concrete layer.
The final stages were the laying of the asphalt concrete mixture and compaction of the pavement with a road roller.
The municipal enterprise noted that the works are completed and the repaired section is ready for daily use.
