The Rada approved the government: Kim — Minister for Veterans, Vyhovskyi — Minister of Internal Affairs; both from Mykolaiv region, 264 votes in favor

The vote took place on 16 July: against — 15, abstained — 19, did not vote — 20

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved a draft resolution on forming a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The decision was adopted at the parliament’s plenary session on Thursday, July 16.

For the respective resolution 264 people’s deputies voted in favor, 15 against, 19 abstained, 20 did not vote.

Two natives of Mykolaiv Oblast joined the new government. Vitalii Kim has been appointed Minister for Veterans Affairs, and Ivan Vyhovskyi — Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Besides Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi, the new Cabinet of Ministers will consist of:

  • Denys Shmyhal — to the position of First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine — Minister of Energy;
  • Tetiana Berezhna — to the position of Vice Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy — Minister of Culture;
  • Vsevolod Chentsov — to the position of Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration;
  • Vitalii Bezgin — to the position of Minister for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons;
  • Matvii Bidnyi — to the position of Minister of Youth and Sports;
  • Andrii Butenko — to the position of Minister of Education and Science;
  • Ivan Vyhovskyi — to the position of Minister of Internal Affairs;
  • Taras Vysotskyi — to the position of Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food;
  • Mykola Kalashnyk — to the position of Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport;
  • Vitalii Kim — to the position of Minister for Veterans Affairs;
  • Oleksandr Kravchenko — to the position of Minister of Economy and Environment;
  • Viktor Liashko — to the position of Minister of Health;
  • Serhii Marchenko — to the position of Minister of Finance;
  • Denys Maslov — to the position of Minister of Justice;
  • Denys Ulyutin — to the position of Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity;
  • Oksana Ferchuk — to the position of Minister of Digital Transformation.
