Flowers and a minute of silence: Mykolaiv observed the Day of Ukrainian Statehood

On the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, 15 July 2026, in Mykolaiv flowers were laid at the Alley of Memory and at the monument to Vyacheslav Chornovil. This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.
The event was attended by representatives of the city and regional authorities, servicemen, rescuers, law enforcement officers, clergy and the public. Those present honored with a minute of silence the memory of all who gave their lives for the freedom, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.
The city council emphasized that Ukrainian statehood rests on unity, resilience and the people’s devotion to their country.
