Support for healthcare workers and retaining specialists in hospitals was also named among the priorities. The safety of education and children also remains a focus.
According to Yuliia Svyrydenko, programs to support entrepreneurs and agricultural producers in the region will be expanded, in particular regarding the development of land irrigation.
Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim noted that during the Government meeting they separately discussed issues important for the Mykolaiv region. The main emphasis was placed on protecting the region’s energy and critical infrastructure, preparing for the next heating season, and implementing the regional Resilience Plan.

According to Vitalii Kim, the Government approved a new financing mechanism for the construction of local roads. The Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Economy were instructed to prepare a decision to allocate an additional UAH 3.5 billion for repairs.
This should, in particular, allow completion of work on the evacuation route Kherson – Mykolaiv, which ambulances, military and evacuation transport use daily.
As a result of the meeting, the relevant ministries were instructed to take up the proposals voiced by the Mykolaiv region.
