The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, together with the Brave1 defense cluster, conducted field trials in Ukraine of a new generation of strike FPV drones created by eight domestic manufacturers, the results of which were reported after the tests were completed.

According to the ministry, Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov briefed on the progress of the work.

During the trials the drones confirmed the ability to strike targets at distances of up to 25 km and to operate despite active electronic warfare interference, and some samples completed missions in conditions as close as possible to combat on the front line.

To accelerate delivery of equipment to the Defence Forces, the Ministry of Defence simplified codification procedures and changed the approach to needs assessment, directing about 80% of resources to solutions that have already proven effective in combat.

Separate testing methodologies have been introduced for different classes of UAVs with the involvement of manufacturers whose products do not yet have state contracts, and after the results are confirmed at the proving ground rapid contracting and production scaling are launched.

The ministry notes that such a system makes it possible to rapidly implement technological innovations and strengthen the Ukrainian military with modern strike systems.
