In October 2026, residents of Mykolaiv collected nearly 7.4 million liters of purified water from free water distribution points set up at facilities operated by Mykolaiv Regional Heating Utility. The figures were released by the Mykolaiv City Council.
Since the beginning of 2026, residents have collected a total of 84 million liters of water from these points. The water is safe to drink.
The network currently covers every district of Mykolaiv and includes 79 locations. They are maintained by specialists from Mykolaiv Regional Heating Utility, who ensure the water’s quality and safety.
Water is available every day — the points are open from 5:00 a.m. to midnight. The city council’s announcement also included a map showing their locations.
