Faster to patients: Hospital No. 4 in Mykolaiv receives electric bicycles
Charitable aid arrived amid an increase in the number of remote branches
Mykolaiv City Hospital No. 4 has received eight electric bicycles from the “Women’s Opportunities in Ukraine” charitable foundation. The bicycles will be used by medical staff to travel to patients and between the hospital’s departments.
The need for such travel has increased due to changes in the hospital’s structure: in recent months, the number of remote branches has grown, and staff workloads have increased. The administration thanked the foundation for its support and noted how timely it was as the network of departments expands.
The electric bicycles are expected to reduce travel time to patients and help staff reach different locations where medical services are provided more quickly. They also give employees a more mobile and eco-friendly way to get around.
The hospital expects the new transport to make medical care more accessible to residents of Mykolaiv.
