A cargo terminal in Mykolaiv caught fire after a drone strike — State Emergency Service report
The fire covering an area of 1,500 square meters has been extinguished; no one was injured
During the day on October 11, 2026, Russian drones attacked Mykolaiv. The strike caused a large fire at the freight terminal of a private logistics company. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), no one was injured.
While firefighters were putting out the blaze, there was a threat of a follow-up strike, so they had to retreat to a safe distance. The fire engulfed 1,500 sq. m of the terminal’s unloading complex. Firefighters brought it under control as quickly as possible.
The SES deployed the following resources to fight the fire:
- 12 units of special equipment;
- 48 personnel.
