At night, Russia launched a targeted ballistic strike on a railway depot and other “Ukrzaliznytsia” facilities in Kyiv. Seven people were killed as a result of the attack.

The chairman of “Ukrzaliznytsia” Oleksandr Pertsovskyi reported that six of the dead were company employees. Another one employee was wounded and is in hospital receiving necessary care.

“The Russians deliberately struck the railway depot with ballistic weapons. All of this is nothing compared to the horrific loss of colleagues.”

Dozens of employees managed to hide and escape. According to the company’s head, the attack caused extensive destruction: a workshop next to the depot was completely destroyed, and rescuers continue to extinguish fires.

Train traffic on two directions was temporarily suspended, but was later resumed.

There was also a reported nighttime attack on Kyiv, which killed three people and wounded five.
