Ukraine has developed a small missile called 'Nika' to counter the rocket-powered 'Shaheds'
A new missile is being prepared for testing, and the "Spear" interceptor has already been successfully tested
In Ukraine, a new small missile, “Nika”, was created to destroy jet-powered drones, in particular ‘Shaheds’. Its testing lies ahead, which is planned to be carried out in the near future.
President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the development while talking with journalists. He noted that the Ukrainian and German sides are reacting positively to the new missile:
“We have a new small missile Nika against jet-powered ‘Shaheds‘. Everything is positive, the Germans and we are responding positively. There will be a test,” — said Zelensky.
At the same time, another joint development of Ukraine and Germany — the interceptor “Spis” — has already passed a successful test. The president thanked the companies and systems:
“It is important that today we heard about the test of our new interceptor, the German-Ukrainian interceptor Spis. There was a positive test. Thanks to the companies and systems,” — noted Zelensky.
