Two cars blocked the road, and police vehicles were struck with rebar: conflict with the TCC in the Odesa region

21 September in one of the villages of the Rozdilna community of Odesa region men in two cars blocked a police service vehicle and damaged it with metal rebar. The incident occurred during notification activities conducted jointly with the TCC.

This was reported by od.npu.gov.ua.

Police checked the documents of a local resident and found that he was wanted for violating military registration rules. After that, the man’s acquaintances blocked the road to the police car and began hitting it with rebar.

One of the participants in the conflict was detained. He was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — resistance to a law enforcement officer. The sanction provides for up to two years of imprisonment. The police are identifying other participants in the incident.
