Pressure on students ahead of the heating season: «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» reported sabotage

Conflict between OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” and the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University arose over students who studied and did internships at the enterprise. The deputy director of the heat-supply company for economic affairs, Kateryna Kutsenko, claims that young people are allegedly being pressured to resign and to write statements that they will no longer work at “Mykolaivoblteploenergo”.

Kateryna Kutsenko called the situation a sabotage against a critically important enterprise directly before the start of the heating season. She wrote about the conflict on social media, and her post was also published on the page of the head of the enterprise, Mykola Logvinov.

According to the deputy director, the enterprise’s cooperation with the university lasted more than five years. She described it as follows:

“More than 5 years of cooperation, practical classes for students, a department branch at OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenergo”, dual education for more than 20 students per year.”

The press service of the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University told journalists that the institution does not comment on the situation. At the time of publication, the university’s official position on the conflict remained unknown.

So far in Mykolaiv, only 42 out of 1,230 buildings are ready for the heating season.
