A 15-year-old boy from Mykolaiv region went missing for several days and turned up in Odesa region

15-year-old resident of the village of Pidhorodna of the Pervomaisk community, who left home and did not return for several days, was found in the city of Podilsk in Odesa region. The boy is fine and has already been returned home.

The minor’s mother contacted the Pervomaisk District Police Department on September 18. She reported that her son left home several days ago but had not yet returned.

Operatives and juvenile inspectors of the district department, as well as detectives from the criminal investigation unit of the regional police administration, were involved in the search. Thanks to coordinated actions, the vigilance of law enforcement officers and the assistance of operatives from a neighboring region, it was established that the youth was in Podilsk.

After the boy was returned home, juvenile inspectors spoke with him and his mother. The minor was told what the consequences of such an ill-considered act could have been, and they emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable.
