Music instead of mass celebrations: a special trolleybus was launched in Mykolaiv

September 12 in honor of City Day in Mykolaiv saw the launch of a musical trolleybus. This gift for the city’s residents and guests was prepared by KP «Mykolaivelektrotrans» and the military orchestra of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after General-Khorunzhy Oleksiy Almazov.

The trolleybus runs a special service without passengers and follows a separate route. At public transport stops the orchestra performs well-known and favorite musical pieces live for Mykolaiv residents.

The organizers explained the unusual format of the celebration by the security situation:

“This year, given the security situation, mass events are not planned. Therefore, we decided to present music in a slightly different way,” the organizers said.
