Russian attacks over the past day: killed and wounded in Mykolaiv, widespread damage

During the past 24 hours and this morning Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv Oblast. During the night the region suffered a massive combined strike.

As a result of the attack in Mykolaiv, a private two-storey residential building and a garage were destroyed. Rescuers extricated from the rubble the body of a deceased 70-year-old woman.

A 66-year-old man was hospitalized; his condition is moderate. Necessary medical assistance was also provided to a 74-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman and a 15-year-old child.

A fire covering an area of 120 sq. m broke out at the site of the destruction. Rescuers extinguished it.

In addition, firefighters worked at several other locations in the city. In particular, they responded to a large fire at a shopping center, and also fought fires at a café and at a motor transport company.
