In Mykolaiv region, a ZAZ and a MAN collided: a car passenger was injured
An 18-year-old man was taken to a medical facility
Today, 28 August, at about 9:00 on the premises of SVT «Magistral» near the village of Karavelove Mishkovo-Pohorilivska community, a road traffic accident occurred involving a ZAZ 1102 car, driven by a 19-year-old driver, and a MAN, driven by a 48-year-old driver.
As a result of the collision of the vehicles, an 18-year-old passenger of the car with bodily injuries was taken to a medical facility.
The drivers of the vehicles were not injured.
Investigators have provisionally classified the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, “Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of transport by persons operating vehicles.” The article’s sanction provides for punishment of up to three years of restriction of liberty with disqualification from driving for the same term.
Police are currently clarifying all circumstances of the road traffic accident.
