In Mykolaiv, more than 5.3 thousand objects damaged by the war have been inspected
About 8.7 thousand objects remain in the city's registry
8 700 damaged objects in the register: how many have already been inspected in Mykolaiv
In Mykolaiv specialists have inspected 5 307 objects damaged as a result of hostilities. Of these, 861 objects were checked during 2026. At the same time, the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property records about 8 700 objects.
The results of the work were reported at a press conference by the head of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control, Olena Tuova.
Among the objects already inspected:
- 640 apartment buildings;
- 3 364 apartments;
- 958 private residential houses;
- 338 non-residential buildings.
At the same time the total of the listed categories amounts to 5 300 objects, while the total number inspected is 5 307. Which category the remaining 7 objects belong to was not specified at the press conference.
The most inspections were carried out in 2025 — 2 128 objects. A significant amount of work was related to the Russian shelling on August 2, 2025, when about 840 objects were damaged in Mykolaiv in a single night.
Inspections are carried out not only after owners’ requests. District administrations independently compile lists of damaged objects, after which specialists contact residents and visit the sites.
Condominium associations (OSBB), management companies and housing and communal services companies are also involved in the work. Information for owners of damaged property is distributed through notices and social networks.
According to Olena Tuova, thanks to this approach there are virtually no remaining applications for inspections regarding damages caused in 2023–2025. Specialists are currently continuing to record the consequences of new Russian attacks.
