Mykolaiv cyclists won two medals at the Ukrainian Championship
112 athletes from different regions competed for the medals
Mykolaiv cyclists won two medals at the Ukrainian Cycling Championship in Olympic disciplines among boys and girls.
This is reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.
The competitions took place from 9 to 12 July, 2026, in the Khmelnytskyi region. 112 athletes from various regions of Ukraine competed for the medals.
Mykolaiv was represented at the national championship by pupils of the SDYUSSHOR cycling school.
Dmytro Katasonov won a silver medal, and in another discipline he was one step short of the podium, finishing in 4th place.
Illia Narayevskyi became a bronze medalist of the Ukrainian championship. In another discipline the athlete finished sixth.
Luiza Shulhina also ranked among the strongest competitors, taking 4th and 7th places in different disciplines.
Mykolaiv athletes were prepared for the championship by coaches Stanislav Nebaba and Andriy Kost.
