Mykolaiv cyclists won four golds and three silvers at the Ukrainian championships

During 17–20 September in the city of Bila Tserkva, pupils of the Mykolaiv City Specialized Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve for cycling won a number of awards at national competitions: four female athletes became champions, and another three participants won silver medals.

The competition program included:

• Ukrainian Championship in team and pair races among juniors (male and female);
• Team Ukrainian Championship in the individual time trial among male juniors, female juniors, boys and girls.

The winners of the Ukrainian Championship were:

• Anzhelika Verlatova;
• Luiza Shulhina;
• Sofiya Mospanenko;
• Darya Dyachenko.

Silver medals were won by:

• Dmytro Katasonov;
• Illia Narayevskyi;
• Amina Mardirosyan.

Also among the top five at the competition were:

• Denys Sokoluk;
• Oleksii Kitsak.

The Mykolaiv cyclists were coached for the championships by:

• Mykhailo Kravets;
• Andrii Kost;
• Vasyl Horbachuk;
• Vitalii Kost;
• Oleksandr Kravtsov;
• Oleksandr Sadovskyi;
• Stanislav Nebaba.
