Another rollover on the highway: police are looking for witnesses to a traffic accident involving a child

On the territory of the Kostiantynivska community of Mykolaiv Oblast, the police are establishing the circumstances of a road traffic accident in which the driver and a young child were injured.

The accident occurred on June 21 at about 19:20 on the 2nd kilometer of the “Blahovishchenske – Mykolaiv” highway.

According to preliminary information, the 38-year-old driver of a Lexus ES 350, who was traveling from the village of Balivne, lost control of the vehicle. After that the car left the roadway and overturned.

As a result of the accident, the driver and his 5-year-old passenger were injured. Both victims were taken to medical facilities. Medics assess the man’s condition as serious, while the child sustained minor bodily injuries.

Investigators have opened a criminal proceeding on the accident and are clarifying all the causes and circumstances of the incident.
