Another crash with an injured person in Mykolaiv: after the impact, a Ford ran off the road and crashed into a tree

During the day on Sunday, 21 June 2026, a road traffic accident occurred in the center of Mykolaiv involving the cars Ford Escape and Volkswagen Passat.

The cars collided at the intersection of Spaska and Mala Morska streets, report “News-N“. According to preliminary information, the Volkswagen Passat was traveling along Mala Morska Street from Velyka Morska Street toward Admiralska Street. At the same time the Ford Escape was driving along Spaska Street from Mariupolska Street toward Sadova Street. At the intersection the Volkswagen driver, according to preliminary data, did not yield to the Ford, resulting in the collision.

The impact was strong enough: the Volkswagen Passat spun approximately 180 degrees and was thrown against the curb.

After the collision the Ford Escape left the roadway and came to a stop under a tree.

The Ford driver was injured as a result of the accident. An emergency medical team arrived at the scene and transported the man to the hospital.

There is no information about the nature of the injuries or the condition of the hospitalized driver at the time of publication.

The Ford Escape and the Volkswagen Passat sustained significant mechanical damage.

The final causes of the accident, including whether the drivers complied with traffic signs and the right-of-way at the intersection, are to be determined by law enforcement.
