FPV drones and an MLRS strike: Russians again attacked communities in Mykolaiv region

Russian forces again attacked the communities of the Mykolaiv Oblast. Over the past day, as of the morning 16 June 2026 , combat operations were conducted in the region.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, as of the morning no damage or casualties from enemy attacks were recorded.

In the Mykolaiv district, Russian occupiers twice attacked the Ochakiv community with FPV drones. The enemy also struck, apparently with a MLRS, the Kutsurub community.

According to the regional military administration, there are no casualties as a result of these attacks.

Despite the absence of destruction and injuries, the coastal communities of the Mykolaiv region remain effectively under the threat of Russian strikes almost daily. Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities regularly appear in reports due to attacks by drones, artillery, and multiple-launch rocket systems.
