FPV and "Molniya" again struck communities in Mykolaiv region
Coastal communities again under drone pressure
In Mykolaiv Oblast the past day again passed under the threat of Russian drone attacks. Fighting took place in the region, however, according to preliminary data, there were no damages or casualties. This, as of the morning of 9 June 2026, was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA).
In the Mykolaiv district Russian forces four times attacked with FPV drones and UAVs of the “Molniya” type the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. According to the OVA, there were no casualties as a result of these attacks. No damage was recorded either.
Despite the lack of consequences, these strikes once again show that the coastal communities of Mykolaiv Oblast remain under constant drone pressure from Russian forces. For local residents, such “quiet” reports still mean living next to daily danger.
