On Easter, a 35-year-old man stabbed an acquaintance in the chest: the Korabelnyi Court remanded him in custody for 60 days
On the evening of April 12, he was detained at the scene of the incident; investigators accuse him of intentional grievous bodily harm
At the Korabelnyi District Court of Mykolaiv on Wednesday, April 15, a 35-year-old local resident was remanded in custody; he is suspected of stabbing an acquaintance during a conflict that occurred on the evening of April 12, on Easter.
The district prosecutor’s office reported on the court decision and the circumstances of the case.
According to the investigation, on the festive evening a dispute arose between the victim and the suspect, which escalated into a fight.
During the incident the man grabbed a knife and stabbed his acquaintance in the chest.
Law enforcement detained the suspect immediately after the crime. He was charged with intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
The court ordered the man held in pretrial detention for 60 days.
