As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, a kindergarten and the district electrical substation were damaged, leaving thousands of families without power. Restoration crews began work during the night.
“As of now, unfortunately, it is known that three people were killed in this attack, and among them a child – she was only two years old. My sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones,” – said Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the head of state, it is also known about 16 wounded, of whom 11 were hospitalized. Among the injured — a pregnant woman and two children, the youngest of whom is not yet one year old. In addition, two people were injured in Kharkiv Oblast.
“Overall, during the night the Russians launched more than 140 strike drones against Ukraine, and about 80 of them were ‘Shaheds’. In some oblasts the strikes continue,” – the President noted.
Strikes were also recorded against energy infrastructure in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts. The President emphasized that over the past week Russia has used more than 2,800 strike drones, nearly 1,350 guided bombs and more than 40 missiles of various types.
