Two Amur tiger cubs have joined the Mykolaiv Zoo
The babies were born in Drohobych, and volunteers will help choose their names
This evening, October 21, two Amur tiger cubs arrived at the Mykolaiv Zoo. Zoo director Volodymyr Topchyi announced the new arrivals. According to facebook.com.
The cubs were born at the Limpopo Zoo in Drohobych. They are now 4.5 months old and have not yet been named. The director invited anyone interested to take part in choosing names for the cubs.
Volodymyr Topchyi called the newcomers a new generation of tigers at the Mykolaiv Zoo. Meanwhile, baby pumas will be sent to Drohobych tomorrow.
The Mykolaiv Zoo has also taken in two turtles from the Kherson Regional Museum of Local History for temporary care. The reasons were regular shelling and the cold inside the unheated museum building.
