Children once again clung to moving electric transport in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, children once again clung to electric transport while it was moving. The video of the incident was posted by the municipal enterprise Mykolaivelektrotrans on its Facebook page. Dangerous rides are recurring despite regular warnings and informational lectures.

The company stresses: hanging onto electric vehicles is not an innocent pastime or a youth “trend”, but a direct threat to health and life. A child can lose their grip, end up under the wheels, or fall onto the roadway. There is also one more danger — electric shock. The consequences can be severe injuries or death.

Mykolaivelektrotrans urges parents to be sure to discuss the risks of hanging onto moving vehicles with their children and to return to this conversation regularly. Even if adults think the child already knows everything, the recurrence of such cases shows that reminders are still necessary.

Residents are asked not to walk past if they see someone hanging onto a vehicle: they should immediately inform the driver or the appropriate services. The company’s drivers and dispatchers respond promptly to such situations and pass the information on to the police.

This is not the first such incident: on March 28 the city also recorded dangerous hanging onto electric transport while it was in motion. Numerous warnings have so far not stopped the recurrence of such incidents.
